Matlab/Simulink 2010b于当地时间2010年9月13日正式发布。Matlab 2010b版包括数个新特征，一些升级与bug修正。
Matlab 2010b新特征
- 自定义枚举数据类型，64位整型算法以及MATLAB桌面增强；
- 在并行计算工具箱（Parallel Computing Toolbox）中增加对具有CUDA功能的NVIDIA显卡GPU计算的支持；
- 在Image Acquisition工具箱中增加对千兆以太网标准的支持
- 在Control System工具箱中增自动PID控制器
- 采用新的系统通信设计，支持通信模块中的95种算法
- 将Spline工具箱的功能整合到Curve Fitting工具箱
- Fixed Income工具箱增加OAS与CDS运算；Datafeed工具箱增加Reuters Contribute功能；增强了Financial工具箱中的风险控制功能；
- Neural Network（神经网络）工具箱中增加可以适应时间序列数据的动态网络图形工具；
- Bioinformatics工具箱增加新一代测序浏览器；SimBiology工具箱增加时间滞后、误差模型、协方差分析
